Job summary

Orionplacement in Dallas, TX, seeks an experienced personal injury litigation attorney to manage a full PI caseload from filing through trial. You will develop case strategy, draft discovery, take and defend depositions, negotiate resolutions, and prepare cases for trial.

Candidates must have an active Texas Bar license, a JD, and 5+ years of PI litigation with trial experience; trucking/CMV litigation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Bar license in good standing.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 5+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Experience managing litigation matters from filing through resolution.
• Strong deposition, discovery, negotiation, legal research, writing, and client communication skills.
• Experience supervising or leading legal team members.
• Proficiency with Westlaw, LexisNexis, or comparable legal research platforms.
• Trial experience preferred.
• Trucking or commercial motor vehicle litigation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full personal injury litigation caseload from lawsuit filing through settlement or trial.

• Advocate directly for clients while communicating effectively with adjusters, opposing counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and collaborate with a litigation team of five or more professionals.
• Handle complex motor vehicle accident matters and build expertise in trucking and commercial vehicle litigation.
• Apply strong judgment and attention to detail while independently moving cases forward.
• Support pre-litigation case management and settlement negotiations when needed.
• Supervise and mentor team members while maintaining high standards of performance and client service.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
