Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. in Roswell, GA is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to promote wellness among our senior residents.

You will develop and deliver LiveFit exercise plans, lead group and individual sessions, and document progress within Legacy's program structure and billing workflow. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements, a robust benefits package, licensure reimbursement, CEUs, and opportunities for career advancement

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• College graduate with related degree (exercise science, kinesiology).
• Personal training or group fitness certification from a national org preferred or obtained.
• 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience preferred.
• Experience with senior population desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• CPR/AED certification current.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Legacy Wellness Program.
• Perform and document LiveFit services per policy under supervision.
• Provide personal fitness through LiveFit and complete required billing/documentation.
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans to improve health and fitness goals.
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through LiveFit.
• Meet efficiency standards set by the company.
• Participate in department and facility meetings as needed.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy's program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

Position requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Personal training or group fitness certification - nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and
• Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
