Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to engage with senior residents in Raleigh, NC. You’ll build relationships, tailor exercise plans, and promote wellness as part of a supportive team.

The role involves delivering LiveFit services, creating treatment plans, and helping to market the program to increase membership, with a Monday–Friday schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field preferred.
• Nationally recognized personal training or group fitness certification preferred or willing to attain.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy’s Wellness Program.
• Perform and document LiveFit services with residents under guidance of Rehabilitation Director.
• Provide personal fitness through Legacy’s LiveFit program and complete required billing and documentation.
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans to improve health and fitness goals.
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through the LiveFit Program.
• Meet efficiency standards and participate in department and facility meetings.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy’s program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

Position requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor’s degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Personal training or group fitness certification – nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and
• Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
