Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to support senior residents in Raleigh, NC.

The role focuses on delivering LiveFit services, developing personalized and group fitness plans, and documenting billing and progress under supervision. You will promote wellness, independence, and functional ability, while motivating residents to achieve fitness goals and participate in program marketing to increase membership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field.
• Nationally recognized personal training or group fitness certification preferred or willingness to attain (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA).
• Strong customer service and communication skills with seniors and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy's Wellness Program.
• Perform and document LiveFit services with residents under guidance of Rehabilitation Director.
• Provide personal fitness and group fitness through the LiveFit program; document required billing.
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans aligned with Legacy program structure to improve health and fitness goals.
• Promote wellness and independence among senior residents; market the LiveFit program to increase membership.
• Participate in department and facility meetings as required.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy's program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

Position requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Personal training or group fitness certification - nationally recognized and accredited organization preferred or willing to attain (i.e. ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA)
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and
• Excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
