Job summary

Legacy Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech to promote wellness and improve independence for our senior residents. You will design tailored exercise plans and lead group sessions, while marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a relevant bachelor's degree preferred, and a current CPT/grou pf fitness certification. Prior experience with seniors and strong customer service are highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in exercise science, kinesiology or related field preferred.
• Current CPT/Group Fitness certification from a recognized agency is required.
• 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience preferred.
• Experience with seniors desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED certification must be current.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain membership for Legacy's Wellness Program.
• Perform and document LiveFit services following policy under guidance of Rehab Director.
• Provide personal fitness through LiveFit program with required billing and documentation.
• Deliver LiveFit treatment plans to improve health and fitness goals.
• Provide group fitness and wellness services through LiveFit.
• Meet efficiency standards set by the company.
• Participate in department and facility meetings as needed.

This individual will play a vital role in promoting wellness, independence, and overall functionality among our senior resident population. The Personal Fitness trainer / Rehab Tech will provide a fun and challenging experience, and will discuss, motivate, and teach the fitness member to improve and maintain their fitness and strength. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech is responsible for identifying goals, delivering tailored exercise plans for personal fitness and group sessions in accordance with Legacy's program structure. The Personal Fitness Trainer / Rehab Tech will assist with marketing the LiveFit program to increase membership.

Position requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• College graduate preferred with bachelor's degree in related field of study such as exercise science, kinesiology, etc.
• Current personal training or group fitness certification from a nationally recognized and accredited organization (ACSM, NSCA, NASM, ACE, ISSA) is required.
• Preferred 1+ year personal training or group fitness experience
• Previous experience with senior population desirable.
• Customer service skills to deliver an exemplary experience.
• CPR/AED Certification must be current and

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
