Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• May substitute with an Associate degree plus 4 years' experience.
• May substitute with a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required.
• Certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling and management services to service members and families at military installations.
• Develop and publish informational financial materials for service members and families.
• Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
• Conduct briefings, consultations, and virtual counseling as needed.
• Maintain DoD-aligned practices and uphold security and OCI requirements.
