Magellan Health is seeking a Personal Financial Counselor to provide comprehensive financial counseling to service members and their families at Dobbins ARS, GA. The role covers one-on-one counseling, group workshops, and coordination with DoD points of contact to ensure program scope and needs are met.

The candidate should have 3+ years of financial counseling experience, a Bachelor's degree, U.S. citizenship, fluent English, and may hold AFC/CFP/ChFC certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English.
• May be bilingual in English and Spanish as per contract needs.
• Must be able to obtain a Tier 2 investigation and pass OCI disclosures.
• Certifications: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and their families on military installations.
• Develop and deliver financial education materials and workshops.
• Coordinate with POC and leadership to meet installation needs.
• Offer virtual counseling via web-based or secure video platforms when required.
• Support DoD compliance and participate in supervision and quality improvement activities.
