Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Associate degree + 4 years' experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
• If required by the contract, bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Must pass the OCI for Organizational Conflicts of Interest.
• Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal financial counseling to service members and their families.
• Assist in establishing spending plans for extended absences.
• Develop educational financial materials for service members and families.
• Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops.
• Respond to requests for age-appropriate classes or seminars.
• Use virtual counseling and secure video/online communications when required.
