Job summary

Senior Community Care of Colorado PACE in Eckert, CO is seeking a dedicated Personal Caregiver to provide compassionate in-home and Day Center assistance to seniors. This role offers meaningful, purpose-driven work in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, restorative care, and IADLs, plus helping with Day Center activities and meal service. A high school diploma, 1+ year eldercare experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver’s license are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year experience working with frail or elderly individuals.
• Must have CPR/First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, proof of insurance.
• Active CPR/First Aid certification and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with non-skilled activities of daily living (ADLs) in the home and Day Center (bathing, dressing, grooming, etc.).
• Assist with non-skilled restorative and supportive care (ambulating, positioning, transferring, skin and personal care).
• Assist with IADLs (grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry, meal prep).
• Support participants with Day Center activities, including meal service and cleanup.
• Perform other duties as required or requested.

Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour, based on previous work experience.

Schedules: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 4 or 5 days per week; 8 or 10-hours shifts

What You Bring (Requirements)

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• A minimum of one year’s experience in working with the frail or elderly population required.
• Active CPR/First Aid Certification
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and have means of transportation

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Assist participants with non-skilled activities of daily living (ADL’s) in the home and in the Day Center including but not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care, mouth care, eating, hand and foot nail care and toileting as assigned or needed.
• Assists participants with non-skilled restorative and supportive care in the home and in the Day Center including ambulating, positioning, transferring, skin care, personal care, etc. as assigned or needed.
• Assists participants with Independent Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) including, but not limited to, grocery shopping, cleaning, changing bed linens, laundry, meal preparation and other routine household care as assigned.
• Assists with participant activities in the Day Center, including meal service and clean-up.
• Performs other duties as required or requested.
