Summary

We are hiring certified HHA Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care in client homes in the Oviedo, FL area. We offer a variety of PRN hours, benefits, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

• Report observations of the client’s condition to the Agency Director or manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, adhere to traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, oral hygiene, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting.
• Help with household tasks essential to the client’s personal care.

Education and Experience

Preferred Experience:

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification.

State-Specific Requirements

For Florida: Completion of at least forty hours of training as required by the Agency for Health Care Administration or passing the home health aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007).

Skill Requirements

• Flexibility to work hours as needed to meet client needs.
• Ability to work independently in diverse home situations.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
