Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household tasks to enable individuals to remain in their own homes.

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, adhere to traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during business travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, denture and oral care, nail care, skin care, transfers, and toileting assistance.
• Help with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• At least six months of home care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements

• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation.

Skill Requirements

• Flexibility to work varied hours based on patient needs.
• Ability to work independently in diverse home environments.
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills.
