We are hiring Caregivers to work 1:1 patient care in their homes in the Chiefland, FL area. We have a variety of PRN hours available and offer benefits (for those who qualify), flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support and assistance with personal hygiene and household functions to help individuals remain in their own homes.

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of any incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt during business travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation.

License Requirements

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• Current CPR certification.

State Specific Requirements

• For FL: Completion of at least forty hours of training as required by the Agency for Health Care Administration or passing the home health aide competency test (Form AHCA 3110-1007).

Skill Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs.
• Ability to work independently in any home situation, regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition.
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills.
