Job summary

The Birches at New Hope is seeking a General Manager/Executive Director to lead our senior living community with a focus on quality care, regulatory readiness, and resident satisfaction. You will guide operations, clinical governance, and staff development while collaborating with family and community partners.

The role emphasizes strong leadership in a healthcare setting, occupancy growth, and financial stewardship in a dynamic, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• College degree and administrator’s license/certification per state requirements.
• Prior General Manager, Executive Director or Administrator experience within the healthcare industry preferred.
• Experience in managing a healthcare community is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare community for inspections through audits and policy updates.
• Lead and support staff through role modeling and culture.
• Serve as sales leader to drive occupancy, marketing outreach, referrals.
• Meet or exceed financial goals through revenue, expense, and labor control.
• Supervise the management team to ensure a smooth operation for residents, families, and staff.

Job Requirements

Job Responsibilities Include

• Ensures that the community is prepared for inspection by regulatory agencies through regular auditing and updating of community policies and procedures, medical records documentation, environmental standards, etc.
• Lead,develop, and support staff through role modeling and the company culture
• Serveas sales leader of the community driving community occupancy, marketingoutreach, and referrals
• Meetor exceed the financial goals of the community through revenue generatingexpense management and labor control
• Supervise and leadthe community management team to ensure a smooth operation that meets theneeds of residents, families, associates and visitors
