Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and disabled adults in North Central Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Experience and CNA/HHA credentials are a plus. We offer immediate hiring for all shifts with flexible schedules and a chance to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living.
• Assists with hygiene, ambulation, dressing, grooming, feeding.
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, games, conversation).
• Assists with prescribed range of motion exercises as taught by a nurse.
• Meal preparation following instructions and household chores as needed.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile
• Communicate effectively with office staff regularly
• Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff
