Job summary

Right at Home Indianapolis Southeast, IN seeks compassionate caregivers to support seniors and disabled adults in their homes. You will perform personal care tasks, assist with daily living activities, and help clients maintain independence in North Central Indianapolis and surrounding areas.

We offer flexible schedules, weekly pay, and bonuses. Experience preferred; CNA/HHA a plus. Full-time, part-time, and temporary positions available to cover all shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care activities such as hygiene, ambulation, and dressing.

• Perform homemaking tasks: cleaning, laundry, dishes, and laundry.
• Care for clients to help them stay independent at home.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
