To be successful as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) at Cornerstone VNA, you'll need a few key skills and qualifications. First and foremost, a High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additionally, we value candidates who hold a PCSP or PCA Certification; if you don't, you will have access to successfully complete our PCSP/PCA program at Cornerstone VNA. These certifications and training ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and skills to provide exceptional care to our clients.

In addition to the required certifications, we also look for individuals who possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. As a PCA, you'll be working closely with clients and their families, so being able to effectively communicate and build relationships is essential. Additionally, having a compassionate and empathetic nature will help you connect and understand the unique needs of each client. While no specific software or tools are required for this role, being comfortable with basic technology and electronic documentation is a plus.
