Position Details

We are hiring dedicated people for the role of Personal Care Attendant (PCA). All training for this temporary position will be provided by the company!

If you've been displaced from the hospitality industry due to COVID-19, we can help! In this role, you will assist the nursing team and make a difference in residents' lives by providing caregiving support such as:

• Making occupied or unoccupied beds
• Passing fresh ice water
• Passing meal trays and opening cartons & packets
• Checking resident temperatures
• Performing one-person transfers
• Repositioning residents in bed and floating heels
• Transferring residents to wheelchairs using a gait belt
• Using a gait belt to assist with ambulation
• Providing oral and denture care (alert residents)
• Providing bed baths, perineal, and catheter care
• Assisting residents with dressing
• Assisting with hearing aids
• Helping residents to bathroom or use a urinal (one-person assist)

No experience or specific education is required, but you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to read, write, and speak English
