Job description

Immediate hiring of Direct Care Staff for the Carlsbad area, CA.

Preferred experience working in supported living, or working with individuals with cerebral palsy or other intellectual disabilities is a plus!

This is a great opportunity for part-time work or supplement income with a second job.

We are looking for staff who is able to work:

1. Shift #1- Part-Time - 15hrs per week: Monday-Wednesday 4pm-9pm
2. Shift #2 - Part-Time - 18hrs per week: Thursday-Saturday 4pm-9pm

Having a valid driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of Spread Your Wings Direct Care Staff (DCS) is to provide a safe and supportive environment for our clients. We tailor our support to each person's specific needs and desires, ensuring they live the life they want, and as independently as possible. When an individual is in crisis, DCS is expected to recognize the situation and utilize the appropriate procedures to handle it professionally and safely.
