Right at Home Indianapolis Southeast, IN is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide in-home care for seniors and disabled adults in North Central Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Flexible schedules, early shifts available, experience preferred; CNAs and HHAs a plus.

Earn weekly pay with bonuses for quick shifts and referrals. Responsibilities include personal care, meal prep, homemaking, mobility assistance, and companionship, all under an established care plan.

Responsabilités

• Performs personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Assists with ambulation and mobility.
• Supports with meal preparation as instructed.
• Performs homemaking tasks (cleaning, laundry, dishes).
• Engages clients with activities and social interaction.
• Follow care plan and instructions from a nurse.

Caregiver Essential Functions

• Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
• Ambulation
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Assists with feeding
• Engagement activities with client (puzzles, card games, conversation)
• Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Meal Preparation in accordance to instruction
• Performing homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathrooms.

Caregiver Qualifications

Verbal communication and listening skills

Ability to promote and maintain a safe environment

Dependability

Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured and reliable automobile

Communicate effectively with office staff regularly

Must be willing to follow all company policies and take direction from office staff
