Job summary

Clarity Care is hiring a Personal Care Worker (PCW) to support Members at their Oshkosh home, providing hands-on care, companionship and daily living assistance. You’ll help with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep and light housekeeping, enabling independence and comfort.

Paid training is provided; no prior experience required. We offer competitive hourly pay up to $17.50, weekend shift premium, travel time reimbursement, and benefits.

Qualifications

No caregiving experience required; paid training provided.
At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma/equivalent.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
Support safe mobility and daily living activities; transfers.
Provide companionship and participate in household tasks.
Follow care plans and document care provided.

What You’ll Do

Provide Compassionate Personal Care

Assist Members with bathing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.
Support safe mobility, transfers and daily living activities.
Provide respectful, individualized care that promotes dignity and independence.

Create a Safe & Comfortable Home

Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, bed making and household upkeep.
Prepare meals according to individual dietary needs and preferences.
Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming living environment.

Build Meaningful Relationships

Provide companionship, encouragement and friendly conversation.
Assist with grocery shopping, errands and transportation as assigned.
Respect each Member’s personal choices, routines and goals.

Support Health & Well-Being

Provide medication reminders as directed.
Follow individualized care plans and established safety procedures.
Complete required documentation and communicate concerns to the care team.

Education & Qualifications

No previous caregiving experience or certification required; paid training and required Personal Care Worker Orientation provided.
At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma, equivalent education and/or relevant work or life experience.
Valid Wisconsin driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and ability to meet agency driving standards.
Ability to successfully complete required caregiver background checks.
