Job summary

Clarity Care, Inc. is looking for a Personal Care Worker (PCW) in Oshkosh, WI to provide hands-on care, companionship and daily living support so Members can maintain independence at home.

The role emphasizes dignity, safety and respectful, individualized care. Paid training is provided; experience is not required, and travel time with mileage reimbursement is offered.

Qualifications

• No caregiving experience required; paid training provided.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and auto insurance proof.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, transfers and daily living activities.

What You'll Do:

Provide Compassionate Personal Care:

• Assist Members with bathing, grooming, toileting and personal hygiene.


• Support safe mobility, transfers and daily living activities.


• Provide respectful, individualized care that promotes dignity and independence.

Create a Safe & Comfortable Home:

• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, bed making and household upkeep.


• Prepare meals according to individual dietary needs and preferences.


• Help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming living environment.

Build Meaningful Relationships:

• Provide companionship, encouragement and friendly conversation.


• Assist with grocery shopping, errands and transportation as assigned.


• Respect each Member's personal choices, routines and goals.

Support Health & Well-Being:

• Provide medication reminders as directed.


• Follow individualized care plans and established safety procedures.


• Complete required documentation and communicate concerns to the care team.

Education & Qualifications:

• No previous caregiving experience or certification required; paid training and required Personal Care Worker Orientation provided.


• At least 18 years of age.


• High school diploma, equivalent education and/or relevant work or life experience.


• Valid Wisconsin driver's license, proof of auto insurance and ability to meet agency driving standards.


• Ability to successfully complete required caregiver background checks.
