Job summary

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Personal Care Assistant/Teaching Assistant to support the educational services provided to children with disabilities in our school setting.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or higher and experience working with children with severe disabilities. The role requires flexibility and the ability to implement Positive Behavior Supports effectively.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field is required.
• Experience with children with disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation needed for travel.

Responsibilities

• Support educational services for children with disabilities.
• Implement strategies outlined in Positive Behavior Support Plans.
• Assist classroom teachers and work with students individually.

Skills

Experience working with children with disabilities

Education

Associate degree or higher in a related field

Current RBT certification
