Job summary

Presbyterian SeniorCare Network seeks a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the Premium Weekend Program at Manchester Commons in Erie, PA. This full-time night-shift role offers an hourly rate with non-exempt status and a dedicated care environment within a single building.

The PCA provides ADL support, assists with meals, mobility, and transfers while engaging with residents and families to maintain dignity and routine.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or GED OR provide documentation that the GED or high school diploma will be received within 6 months of hire.
• Have a Pennsylvania Direct Care Worker Certificate or obtain one prior to hire.
• Be able to effectively interact with residents, resident families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing and toileting to promote hygiene, grooming and self-esteem.
• Serve meals or monitor eating and drinking.
• Accompany residents to activities and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers to promote continuity of care.

The Personal Care Assistant (PCA) assists residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing and toileting, to ensure good hygiene, grooming and self-esteem, serves meals or monitors eating/drinking, accompanies residents to various activities, assists with admission, discharges and transfers of residents to promote continuity of care.
