Interim HealthCare Inc. of Central Montana in Helena, MT is seeking a Home Care Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to help seniors live safely at home.

You’ll perform ADLs, provide companionship, and support day-to-day living in a family-like team environment. The role offers hourly pay between $19 and $21 based on experience, flexible scheduling, online training, tuition assistance toward CNA certification, and rich benefits including vision, dental, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six (6) months of caregiving experience in a healthcare role required; one year preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Valid Montana driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
