Job summary

Edgewood Healthcare in Spearfish, SD is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to support residents with daily activities and personal care. This full-time role offers a starting hourly wage of $18.00 to $20.87 plus shift bonuses and benefits.

You will help residents with dressing, bathing, and mobility while maintaining privacy and dignity. Edgewood Spearfish is a 118-bed Assisted Living & Memory Care community, offering training, early pay options, Health, Vision, Dental, HSA,

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Demonstrates compassion and dignity in resident interactions.
• Willingness to train new employees and learn new skills.
• Desire to continue learning and improving skillset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal cares including dressing, showers, and ADLs.
• Provide compassionate care while promoting independence and dignity.
• Document care accurately and follow HIPAA and Edgewood policies.

• Help with personal cares such as dressing, assisting with showers and baths, and other activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Demonstrate kindness and provide dignity during resident interactions
• Document cares appropriately
• Follow HIPAA and all other Edgewood policies
