Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice in Northwest Arkansas is seeking Caregivers to provide non-medical care, companionship, transportation and daily living support. Starting pay is $16.50/hour with a weekend differential for hours 7pm Friday through 7am Monday.

Flexible PRN scheduling helps you fit school or other commitments. Benefits include education assistance up to $2,500 annually, support to obtain PCA or CNA certifications, paid drive time and mileage, paid time off for all staff, and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Demonstrates compassion and ability to build rapport with clients.
• Must have valid and current driver’s license or reliable transportation.
• Able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and sitting.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming and other ADLs.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Run errands and accompany to events.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assisting with recreational tasks such as crafting, letter writing, exercising, etc.
• Medication reminders.

Caregiver Qualifications

Prior caregiving experience preferred. Demonstrates compassion and an ability to build rapport with clients. Able to work independently and demonstrate dependable work habits. Excellent interpersonal skills. Must have valid and current driver's license or the ability to access reliable transportation. Able to meet pre-employment screening criteria.
