BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to serve patients in Clearwater, St. Petersburg, New Port Richey, Zephyrhills, and surrounding areas.

The role offers pay between $17 and $19 per hour, with weekly pay, benefits, and a flexible schedule (4–12 hour shifts). The candidate should have an HHA certificate or CNA license (or 1 year of caregiving experience), CPR/BLS certification, and must pass a Level II background check.

Formación

• One year of work experience in caregiving or similar roles.
• HHA certificate or CNA license required, or 1 year of hands-on caregiver experience.
• BLS CPR certification required (American Red Cross / American Heart Association / other approved bodies).
• Background check as per Florida requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care per the plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, meals, grooming, mobility, and medications reminders as needed.

Pay Range: $17-19/hour

Qualifications for a Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)

What you'll do:

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you'll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA, you'll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
