Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. is hiring Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to serve patients in Tampa and surrounding areas.

The role involves personal care, companionship, and light household tasks in patients' homes, with flexible shifts and comprehensive training provided. Qualifications include at least one year of experience, an HHA certificate or CNA license (or equivalent hands-on caregiver experience), BLS CPR certification, and a Level II background check.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year work experience.
• Current HHA certificate OR CNA license OR 1 year hands-on experience as caregiver/HHA.
• BLS CPR certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy).
• Level II Background Check as required by Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services as per a RN plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Range of motion exercises and transfer assistance.
• Medication reminders and safety monitoring.

Pay Range: $17-19/hour

Qualifications for a Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

• Minimum one year work experience
• Current HHA - Home Health Aide certificate (at least 40-hour course) OR CNA License OR 1-year of hands on experience working as a caregiver or Home Health Aide (HHA)
• BLS Certified CPR (must be American Red Cross, American Heart Association, HSI, or American Healthcare Academy)

What You’ll Do

• Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders
