Genesis is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to join our Reading, PA senior living community. You will support residents with daily living activities and help maintain an independent lifestyle in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will assist with bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene, monitor changes in conditions, manage medication reminders, respond to emergency calls, and help with dining service to ensure high-quality care for residents.

Qualifications

• Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and CPR is required.
• Participation in medication course is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Inform supervisor and other staff of changes in residents' conditions and document observations thoroughly.
• Follow procedure for medication reminders to ensure correct day, time, and that they are being taken.
• Answer emergency call lights and respond appropriately.
• Perform dining room duties and assist with dining needs of residents.
