Job summary

Genesis in Willistown Township, PA is seeking a PRN Personal Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities and encourage independence in our senior living community. You will assist with bathing, dressing, dining, and mobility while delivering compassionate care.

Your role includes observing resident changes, reporting to supervisors, assisting with medication reminders, responding to emergency calls, and helping in dining room tasks.

Qualifications

• Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and CPR is required.
• Participation in medication course is required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Inform supervisor and staff of changes in residents' conditions and document observations.
• Follow procedure for medication reminders to ensure correct day and time.
• Answer emergency call lights and respond appropriately.
• Perform dining room duties and assist with dining needs of residents.
