Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support residents in a Senior Living Community. You will provide everyday living assistance, ensuring high-quality service in a caring environment that respects individual needs and rights.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, feeding, dressing, and personal care, documenting changes for supervisors, and assisting with dining and medication reminders while maintaining safety and compassion.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Participation in medication course is required.
Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and CPR is required.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
Inform supervisor of changes in residents' conditions and document observations thoroughly.
Follow procedure for medication reminders to ensure correct day and time of administration.
Answer emergency call lights and respond appropriately.
Perform dining room duties and assist with dining needs of residents.
