Job summary

Genesis in Florence, AL is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to support residents with daily living activities in our Senior Living Community. You will deliver high-quality care in a respectful, patient-centered environment that promotes independence and dignity.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, eating, dressing, monitoring changes, documenting observations, following medication reminders, responding to call lights, and helping in dining rooms to meet residents'

Qualifications

• Current certificate in an accredited First Aid course and CPR is required.
• Participation in medication course is required.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients and residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, eating, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Inform supervisor and other staff of changes in residents' conditions and needs and document these observations thoroughly.
• Follow procedure for medication reminders to ensure correct day, time, and that they are being taken.
• Answer emergency call lights and respond appropriately.
• Perform dining room duties and assists with dining needs of residents.
