Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic seeks a Part-time Personal Care Assistant for Mercy LIFE Norristown, part of the PACE program. The role involves homecare and center duties, assisting with daily activities, assessments, and transportation support to seniors while ensuring safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, coordinating with staff, and promoting independence. Some regional travel may be required, with competitive benefits and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population or training from PACE upon hiring.
• Preferred experience in long-term care or geriatric programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance and use of personal vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
• Some travel within the region may be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or if less than one (1) year of experience, must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization upon hiring.
• Preferred experience in long-term care or geriatric programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license, insurance and use of personal vehicle.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to change.
• Some travel within the region may be required.
