Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality, patient-centered senior care in the Brighton and South Lyon areas. This role is suitable for dependable and caring individuals, and offers both part-time and full-time options.

The caregiver will be responsible for assisting clients with various personal care needs, meal preparation, and providing safe transportation. A flexible schedule and multiple schedule options are available.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders.
• Aid clients in personal care needs including showering and dressing.
• Provide transportation to clients for appointments and errands.
• Deliver person-centered dementia care ensuring safety and dignity.

SYNERGY HomeCare is an independently owned and operated national company renowned for high‑quality home care, and we are we’re hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered senior care across weekdays and weekends. If you are dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting older adults, we’d love to meet you.

This is a part‑time to full‑time position in the Brighton, South Lyon, Fenton and Milford areas.

Duties

• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders
• Aid clients in their personal care needs including showering, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide transportation to clients to attend doctors appointments, run errands, outings etc. (Mileage is reimbursed).
• Deliver person‑centered dementia care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
