Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality, patient-centered senior care across weekdays and weekends in the Brighton, South Lyon, Fenton and Milford areas.

The role involves assisting with housekeeping, meals, personal care, transport to appointments, and supporting clients with dementia care while upholding safety, dignity, and individual engagement. Flexible schedules and ongoing training are offered to support caregivers.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dependable caregiver.
• Experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow care plans and document care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with housekeeping, meal prep, and verbal medication reminders.
• Aid in personal care including showering, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide transportation to appointments and run errands; mileage reimbursed.

SYNERGY HomeCare is an independently owned and operated national company renowned for high‑quality home care, and we are we’re hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered senior care across weekdays and weekends. If you are dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting older adults, we’d love to meet you.

This is a part‑time to full‑time position in the Brighton, South Lyon, Fenton and Milford areas.

Duties

• Assist clients with housekeeping, meal preparation, and verbal medication reminders
• Aid clients in their personal care needs including showering, dressing, and toileting.
• Provide transportation to clients to attend doctors appointments, run errands, outings etc. (Mileage is reimbursed).
• Deliver person‑centered dementia care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
