Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare is hiring a dedicated caregiver to provide high-quality, patient-centered senior care across weekdays and weekends, with a schedule of up to 30 hours per week. If you are dependable, caring, and passionate about supporting older adults, we’d love to meet you.

Deliver person-centered care, assist with housekeeping, meals, and medication reminders, and support families with flexible, compassionate service in clients\' homes across shifts and schedules.

Qualifications

• CNA or HHA certification preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with compassionate client care.
• Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centered care that provides safety, dignity and meaningful engagement.
• Assist clients with housekeeping, meals and verbal medication reminders.
• Safely transfer clients and assist with personal care needs including dressing and toileting.
• Offer flexible, multigenerational support to families, including childcare assistance.

• Safely transfer clients and provide assistance with personal care needs including dressing, and toileting.
• Offer flexible, multi-generational support to the broader family unit, including childcare assistance

Skills

• CNA or HHA certification is preferred but NOT required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to client care.
• Proficiency in cooking nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and information handling.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required (current CNA sandwich not required)
• Experience with children is preferred but not required.
