CareOne at Sharon in Sharon, MA is hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for full-time, part-time or per diem shifts. The role includes ADL support, mobility assistance and light housekeeping in a caring home health setting.

Competitive hourly wages range from $17.00 to $21.01 with pay reflecting experience, credentials, shift, and other factors. Requires CHHA license and willingness to travel.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• State Certified CHHA license.
• Hospice or home health experience preferred.
• No experience required but 1 year preferred.
• Willingness to travel.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provides ADL assistance: personal hygiene, grooming, skin care and nails.
• Assists with toileting, transfers, positioning and turning.
• Supports prescribed exercises and ROM activities taught by Hospice Nurse.
• Light housekeeping and patient laundry as needed.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Obtains temperature, pulse and respirations under supervision.
• Reports changes to Hospice Nurse and documents on the Home Health Aide Certification form.
• Reminds patient to take medications in accordance with regulations.

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, scheduled shift, and, if applicable, differentials related to a specific shift(s) and or day(s)

Full Time, Part Time, Per Diem Shifts Available

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA)

will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provides or assists in ADL activities; personal hygiene, grooming, mouth, skin care and nails.
• Provides assistance in toileting; positioning and transfer activities, frequent turning and positioning of a bed bound resident/patient.
• Assists with the prescribed exercise and ROM activities which the resident/patient and Hospice aide have been taught by the Hospice Nurse.
• Assists with light housekeeping of individual's personal unit or room, including changing of bed linen, if needed and patient laundry.
• Feeds and assists with meals.
• Obtains temperature, pulse and respirations as supervised by the Hospice Nurse.
• Reports any changes in resident's/patient's condition to the Hospice Nurse and, if in a facility, to the facility nurse and documents the information on the Home Health Aide Certification of House form, including the date and time of the report and the person receiving the information.
• Assists or reminds the patient to take medication, in compliance with regulations of appropriate regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a State Certified CHHA license
• Experience in hospice or home health, preferred
• No experience necessary but 1 year, preferred
• Must be willing to travel
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
