Job summary

Right at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors remain independent in their own homes in the Tucson area. You will assist with daily living activities, provide companionship, and support medication reminders while ensuring safety and dignity. Training is provided and weekly pay is available.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED minimum.
• CPR certification.
• TB test clearance.
• Level 1 fingerprint clearance.
• Valid driver’s license with current auto insurance.

• Drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Run errands and accompany to appointments.
• Support bathing, dressing, grooming and reminders for medications.
• Provide dementia care and engaging companionship.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving the client from place to place throughout their home

• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning the bathroom

• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions

• Accompanying the client on errands or medical appointments

• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving

• Medication reminders

• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises

• Dementia care

• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.

• CPR

• TB Tuberculosis test

• Level 1 fingerprint card

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job

• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
