Job summary

Right at Home of Southern Arizona is seeking an exceptional caregiver to help seniors stay safely and independently in their own homes. You will provide personal care, mobility support, meals, light housekeeping and companionship.

No formal experience required—paid training is provided. A valid driver’s license and own insured vehicle are needed. The role offers flexible scheduling, a consistent work rhythm, sick time, and referral bonuses with opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Assist with ambulation/transfers and mobility.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Help with dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Light housekeeping and meal planning.
• Medication reminders and basic health monitoring.
• Dementia care understanding and basic incontinence care.

Responsibilities and Duties of the Caregiver

• Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Eating
• Dressing/Grooming
• Prepares meals and snacks
• Accompany clients on errands or medical appointments.
• Light Housekeeping

The caregiver performs client-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home Care Manager or Nurse:

• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Measuring and preparing special diets
• Understanding dementia care
• Incontinence care

Qualifications and Skills of a Caregiver:

• Compassion and concern for older adults!
