Right at Home Rhome Texas is seeking caregivers, CNAs and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities. We are a trusted home care provider with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to improving quality of life for those we serve.

We supply PPE and training, offer flexible scheduling, and bi-weekly pay. Full-time staff may receive free health insurance, paid training, discounts, and referral bonuses. If you have a valid driver's license and can lift 50 lbs, apply today.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
• English reading, writing and communication needed for the job.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
• Background check and applicable certifications required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Perform housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, dishes, laundry and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany client to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and range-of-motion support.
• Offer dementia care and companionship activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home


• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom


• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions


• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments


• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving


• Medication reminders


• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises


• Dementia care


• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.


• Must be able to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance


• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job


• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance


• Pass a background check


• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
