Job summary

Homewatch CareGivers of New Haven & THE SHORELINE is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support across New Haven County. You will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of PCA or related experience, owns a vehicle, and can travel to multiple towns including New Haven, Branford, Guilford and Madison.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of PCA, caregiver, home health aide, or related healthcare experience.
Must own a reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Ability to travel between client locations in New Haven County.
Negative TB test result within the past 24 months.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism.
Must be dependable, compassionate and punctual.

Provide companionship and emotional support
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
