Job summary

Caring Senior Service in Hartford, CT is seeking empathetic Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants to join our team. You will provide personal care, assist with daily living, offer companionship, and support clients to stay safe and comfortable at home.

We offer flexible Day/Evening/Night shifts, full-time and part-time opportunities, and competitive pay with CNA/PCA certification preferred. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of caregiving experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• CNA or PCA certification preferred.
• Home care or senior care experience.
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s is a plus.
• Experience using assistive devices like a Hoyer Lift or gait belt is beneficial.

Pay Rate: Started on $17 for caregivers and $18-$25 for CNA
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Location: Hartford CT
Shifts: Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends

Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver who enjoys making a difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need of care? We are looking for dedicated Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team and provide quality, compassionate support to our clients throughout Hartford County.

What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping and other household tasks.
• Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence and dignity.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team.
• Follow care plans and report changes in a client's condition when appropriate.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
• CNA or PCA certification preferred.
• Previous home care or senior care experience.
• Experience caring for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
• Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
