Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking Personal Care Aides to provide essential in-home care in the Rocky Mount area on weekends. You will assist clients with daily living activities, ensure safety, and maintain a clean, respectful environment.

The role emphasizes following care plans, accurate timekeeping via EVV, and reporting changes in client condition to management. Candidates should have 6 months of caregiving experience and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience with references.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform personal care tasks and use mobility equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety, infection control, and client privacy.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans using apps or in-home instructions.
• Complete daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and meal preparation, respecting special diets.
• Utilize safety precautions, universal precautions, and infection control procedures.
• Perform secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep as needed.
• Maintain client confidentiality, privacy, and dignity, providing quality, scope-appropriate care.
• Monitor and report any changes in client condition or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with self-administration of medications without direct administration.
• Adhere to policies, seek guidance for unclear tasks, and ensure a secure environment.
