Job summary

Plan A Health in Rocky Mount, NC area seeks Personal Care Aides to provide weekend home care services. Job description

We are seeking Personal Care Aides to provide home care services primarily during weekends in the Rocky Mount area.

Responsibilities include:

following individualized care plans, completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets, encouraging client self-help, and delivering basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulating, meal preparation, and assisting with transfers and mobility equipment.

Aides must ensure safety protocols, maintain a clean and safe environment, and respect client confidentiality and rights.

Secondary tasks may involve household chores like laundry, cleaning, and grocery shopping.

Qualifications:

at least 6 months of validated caregiving experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and being 18 years or older.

Skills and Requirements:

ability to follow care plans accurately, provide quality care within scope, recognize client limitations, and report any concerns or changes in condition promptly.

Aide must only assist with medication self-administration, never administer medications directly, and adhere to infection control and safety procedures.

This role reports to the Home Care Manager and staffing issues are managed by the Service Manager.
