Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health seeks a Personal Care Aide to provide in-home care to clients on weekends in the Rocky Mount area. You will follow individualized care plans and complete daily tasks using EVV or electronic timesheets.

You will assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and meal preparation, including special diets, and use equipment like walkers or wheelchairs safely. Light housekeeping and ensuring a clean, safe environment are also part of the role.

Responsibilities Includes

• Following individualized care plans and completing daily tasks via EVV or electronic timesheets.
• Assisting clients with self‑help activities and providing basic personal care such as bathing, grooming, ambulation, and meal preparation, including attention to special diet needs.
• Using equipment like walkers and wheelchairs safely and following infection control and safety protocols.
• Performing secondary tasks like laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, and meal prep, while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Respecting client confidentiality, privacy, and rights, and ensuring quality care within scope of practice.
• Monitoring client condition changes, reporting concerns, and notifying supervisors of any issues or unsafe situations.
• Assisting with medication self‑administration (not direct administration) and adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred; ability to read and write required.
• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience, validated through references.
• Must be 18 years or older.
