Job summary

Interim HealthCare in Rockford, IL is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to help seniors live safely at home. You’ll assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, and companionship, providing support and peace of mind.

Expect 1:1 client ratios, flexible scheduling, online training with CEUs, and tuition discounts. Earn $19–$22 per hour depending on placement and experience while making a meaningful difference in clients’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Valid IL driver's license, auto insurance and transportation.
• Compassionate, good communicator and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, light housekeeping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document conditions; notify supervisor of concerns.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities they enjoy.
