Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking Personal Care Aides/Caregivers to support clients in Bartow County, GA. This role offers flexible scheduling and a $200 sign-on bonus to help balance work with life commitments.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and help clients stay safe at home. A high school diploma or GA PCA certificate is required, with CPR/First Aid and TB screening within 12 months. A valid GA driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and GA PCA certificate (Interim can assist with certification).
• One year of healthcare experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification (in-person) and TB screening within 12 months.
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and access to personal transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors to help them live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor notification.
• Ensure a safe home environment with clear pathways and engage clients in activities they enjoy.

Big-picture responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Personal Care Aides/Caregivers

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and Personal Care Assistant Certificate in GA (Interim can assist with certification)
• One (1) year of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• Current hands-on CPR/First Aid certification (we do not accept online training) and TB screening within 12 months
• Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
