Job summary

Home or Away LLC is seeking a dependable Personal Care Aide to deliver hands-on daily living support in clients' homes, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity. You will work one-on-one with clients and families as a vital part of the care team.

Responsibilities include aiding with ADLs, health observation, meal assistance, light housekeeping, and safe transport to appointments, with emphasis on compassionate, respectful care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Background: Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or memory care environments is preferred.
• Dementia care: Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or developmental disabilities (Autism/IDD) is a plus.
• HIPAA: A solid understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy standards.
• CPR/First Aid: Current CPR and First Aid certification is required (must be obtained prior to start date).
• Physical ability: Capability to safely assist with physical tasks and manual transfers.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, families, and supervisors.
• Compassionate attitude: A patient, reliable, and genuinely compassionate professional attitude.
