Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Western Wisconsin in Hudson, WI is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver to provide personal care and support to seniors at home. You’ll assist with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Requirements include an HHA certificate (75 hr), CNA license, CPR, and at least 6 months of healthcare experience; a valid driver’s license with insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• HHA certificate showing 75 hr core competencies.
• CNA License is required.
• CPR certification required; six months healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistants/Caregivers:

• HHA certificate showing 75 hr core competencies
• CNA License
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid INdriver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
