Job summary

Interim HealthCare Hudson, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver to provide personal care and support for seniors living at home. You’ll assist with bathing, dressing, meals, light housekeeping, transportation and companionship to help clients live safely and happily in their own homes.

A valid CNA license or HHA certificate (75-hour core competencies) and CPR certification are required, along with a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors living at home.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant/Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Certified Nursing Assistants/Caregivers:

• HHA certificate showing 75 hr core competencies
• CNA License
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid INdriver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
